Vendor performance

The vendor performance report aggregates the metrics described in Vendors and contractors: vendor performance across the whole panel.

Layout

Vendors as rows, metrics as columns:

• Acceptance rate.
• Quotation rate.
• Time to quote.
• On-time completion.
• Average cost vs estimate.
• First-time fix rate.
• Compliance rate.
• Average rating.
• Total spend in the period.

Filters

• Service category — compare like-for-like (every plumber, every fire safety contractor).
• Site or estate — performance at a specific location.
• Period — quarterly, annual, custom range.

Sorting and ranking

• Sort by average rating descending for the panel meeting.
• Sort by spend descending for procurement attention.
• Sort by on-time completion descending to find your most reliable contractors.

Panel scorecard

A simplified single-page version of the report, designed for board packs. Each vendor gets a colour-coded grade across the key metrics.

Use cases

• Panel reviews — quarterly meeting with the operations team.
• Procurement decisions — should we add another plumber? Should we remove this lift contractor?
• Vendor coaching — share the report (or relevant cuts) with the vendor as part of a performance conversation.
• Service agreement renewal — does the data support renewal at the proposed terms?
