Public API

A public REST API for PropLink data is Coming soon. The full developer reference will live on a separate documentation site at developer.proplinkcloud.com when it launches.

What the API will let you do

• Read sites, units, contacts, vendors, invoices, payments and most other records.
• Create and update most records (subject to permissions).
• Trigger workflows (raise a work order, send a communication, generate a report).
• Subscribe to webhooks for real-time event delivery.

Authentication

The API will use Personal Access Tokens. Each token carries the permissions of the user it belongs to, scoped to that user's organisation. See Your account for token management.

Versioning

The API will follow semantic versioning. Breaking changes get a new major version with a deprecation window for the previous version.

Rate limits

Standard rate limits will be generous for typical use. High-volume use cases will be available on request.

Why it is not live yet

The API surface is being designed against real customer integration needs. We are speaking to firms with bespoke accounting systems, custom CRM tools and data warehouses to make sure the shape of the API matches what they need. We would rather ship a smaller API that works than a sprawling one that does not.
