Accept your invitation
Every PropLink user starts with an email invitation from an administrator in their organisation. This page walks through accepting one.
Before you start
You need:
- A PropLink invitation email. Look in your inbox for a sender address ending in
@proplinkcloud.com. If it is not there, check your spam folder. If it is still missing, ask your administrator to resend it from Users and access. - A web browser. PropLink supports the current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
Steps
- Open the invitation email and click Accept invitation. You land on the Set up your account page.
- Choose a password. PropLink requires at least 12 characters and a mix of letters and numbers. A passphrase like
oak-tree-tuesday-25is fine. - Confirm the password.
- Click Create account. PropLink takes you to the sign-in screen with your email pre-filled.
- Enter the password you just set and click Sign in.
- Enter the six-digit code from your email or authenticator app, then click Verify.
You are now signed in to your organisation. PropLink remembers you on this device for 30 days unless you sign out manually.
What if the invitation has expired?
Invitations are valid for 14 days. If yours has lapsed, you see the message "This invitation has expired" when you click the link. Ask your administrator to resend it, they can do this from Users and access → Pending invitations.
Two-factor authentication
PropLink uses one-time passwords (OTP) by default. After your password, you are asked for a six-digit code. You can switch between:
- Email OTP. A fresh code is emailed each time you sign in.
- Authenticator app. Use Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy or any TOTP-compatible app. Scan the QR code under Your account → Security to pair the app.
After signing in
If you are the first user in your organisation, you go straight to Set up your organisation. Otherwise PropLink takes you to the dashboard for your role.
