Properties and structure
Every PropLink record sits inside the property hierarchy. Get this right at the start and every product. Block Management, Facilities Management, Building Safety, Lettings, uses the same data without duplication.

What lives where
- Estate
- A logical grouping of sites under one freeholder, one management contract or one development. Optional. A single-block organisation may never use estates.
- Site
- One property record. Has an address, a postcode and one or more product modules. Holds everything that happens at that property, units, financials, maintenance, tickets, files.
- Building
- A physical structure on a site. A site may have one (a single block of flats) or many (a development with three blocks).
- Floor
- One level of a building. Used for unit layouts, asset locations and HRB reporting.
- Space
- A room or area on a floor, hallways, plant rooms, gardens, car-park bays. Most useful in Facilities Management for asset tracking and in Building Safety for the golden thread.
- Unit
- A rentable or leasable space. Flats, houses, commercial units, parking bays. Leases, demands, statements and arrears all attach to units.
