PropLink Chat (WhatsApp)
PropLink Chat is the planned WhatsApp interface to the platform. It is Coming soon. The behaviour described below is the design we are building to.
What it will let you do
PropLink Chat will be a WhatsApp Business integration that lets every user type to PropLink in plain English. The chat assistant will:
- Show you a leaseholder's balance.
- Raise a ticket from a quick message.
- Mark a work order complete with a photo.
- Confirm an arrears chase has gone out.
- Report on this month's spend at a site.
For residents, PropLink Chat will let them:
- Ask when their next demand is due.
- Pay an invoice via a link.
- Raise a request that becomes a ticket.
- Get a reply when staff respond.
For contractors:
- Receive work order invitations.
- Post status updates from the field.
- Upload photos.
- Mark work complete.
How it will work
- Your organisation registers a WhatsApp Business number with PropLink.
- Staff users link their own phone numbers under Profile → PropLink Chat.
- Residents and contractors opt in when they receive their first WhatsApp message.
- From then on, conversations flow through WhatsApp with PropLink as the back-end.
Privacy
PropLink Chat will be subject to the same multi-tenancy rules as the rest of the platform. A staff user's chat is scoped to their organisation. A resident only sees their own data. A contractor only sees the work order their session is tied to.
Why it is not live yet
The integration depends on the WhatsApp Business API and on a careful approach to the AI layer that backs natural-language understanding. We are building it carefully rather than fast.
When PropLink Chat ships, this page will switch from coming-soon to the live documentation.
