Product modules

PropLink has four product modules: Block Management, Facilities Management, Building Safety and Lettings. Each one is a set of workflows layered on top of the shared data, sites, units, contacts, vendors, files, maintenance, tickets, communications and reporting all sit underneath.

You turn modules on and off from Settings → Modules. A site can sit in more than one module, a mixed-use property might be a Block Management site and a Facilities Management site at the same time.

The four modules

Block Management

For leasehold blocks and freehold estates.

  • Lease schedules and apportionment
  • Service charge budgets, demands and year-end reconciliation
  • Section 20 consultations
  • Ground rent
  • Debtor invoices and receipts
  • Credit notes and overpayments
  • Arrears workflows
  • Creditor invoices (bills from suppliers)
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Freeholder income and payouts
  • General ledger and double-entry accounting

Block Management is the most mature module, every workflow above is live today. See Block Management.

Lettings is Coming soon in its entirety. See Lettings.

What sits outside the modules

The shared features that every module reads from:

This separation is deliberate. It means you can add Facilities Management to an existing Block Management estate without re-entering a single site, contact or vendor.

How a site sits in multiple modules

When you create a site, you tick which products it belongs to. PropLink creates a workspace record per product (BmSite, FmSite, LtSite, HrbSite) that holds product-specific fields, such as the HRB registration reference, without forcing a copy of the site itself.

You can add or remove a product on an existing site at any time from Portfolio → Sites → your site → Edit.
