PropLink ships four product modules. Your organisation turns on the ones it needs, and the sidebar adapts. Most customers start with one module and add more as their portfolio grows.
The four modules
- Block Management
- For leasehold blocks and estates. Lease schedules, service charge budgets, ground rent, debtor and creditor accounting, arrears workflows, freeholder payouts, Section 20 consultations, year-end reconciliations.
- Facilities Management
- For commercial and mixed-use estates. Asset registers, planned maintenance, the compliance matrix, service agreements, contractor oversight and FM budgeting.
- Building Safety (HRB)
- For high-risk buildings under the Building Safety Act 2022. Register the building, name the Principal Accountable Person and (when shipped) maintain the golden thread, safety case and resident engagement strategy.
- Lettings
- For residential lettings. Tenancies, rent collection, deposit protection, Section 8 and Section 21 notices, HMO licensing, Right to Rent checks. Lettings is **Coming soon**.
Which one is right for you?
If you only manage one type of property, pick the matching module. If you manage a mix, turn on every module that applies. PropLink is designed to layer them on the same site rather than forcing you to keep separate records.
| Your portfolio looks like… | Turn on |
|---|---|
| Residential blocks, freehold estates with leaseholders | Block Management |
| Commercial properties, mixed-use estates, FM contracts | Facilities Management |
| One or more high-risk residential buildings | Building Safety alongside Block Management |
| Residential rental properties under ASTs | Lettings (Coming soon) |
| A mix of blocks and HRBs | Block Management + Building Safety |
| A managing agent serving every property type | All four modules |
What turning a module on actually changes
Three things happen when you enable a module:
- The sidebar. New navigation items appear for the workflows that module supports.
- The site form. When you create a site, you tick which product modules it belongs to. A single site can sit in multiple modules.
- The features. Each module unlocks the screens, fields and reports for that product. Modules you have not turned on stay out of sight.
What modules do not change
- The data model. Sites, units, contacts and vendors are shared between every module, you only enter them once.
- Your users. Anyone with the right permission can use any module. You do not need a separate licence per user per module.
- Your bank accounts, ledger accounts or chart of accounts. Those are organisation-wide.
Next
Once you have decided which modules you need, move on to Set up your organisation. You can change which modules are active at any time from Settings → Modules.
