Turn on the modules you need

After you have set up your organisation, the wizard asks which modules to activate. You can change this later from Settings → Modules.

What a module unlocks

Each module changes three things:

  • Navigation. New sidebar items appear for the workflows that module supports.
  • The site form. When you create a site, you choose which products it belongs to. A single site can sit in several modules at once, for example a mixed-use site that needs both Block Management and Facilities Management.
  • Available reports. Each module exposes its own report library on top of the shared ones.

Everything outside the module, your contacts, vendors, files, tickets, communications, is shared.

Turn modules on or off

    1. Open Settings → Modules.
    2. You see four cards: Block Management, Facilities Management, Building Safety and Lettings.
    3. Toggle the switch on each card to activate or deactivate.
    4. PropLink confirms the change. The sidebar refreshes within a few seconds.

What happens to existing data when you switch a module off?

Switching a module off hides its screens. It does not delete anything. The records remain in the database and the audit log. If you turn the module back on, everything reappears as it was.

For example, if you switch Facilities Management off, sites that were tagged as FM keep their tag, but the FM-specific tabs disappear from the site view. Tickets and work orders raised under FM stay visible, they live under the shared Maintenance and compliance area.

Licensing

Every module is included in your PropLink licence by default. Activate as many as you need, on as many sites as you need. There is no per-user, per-module fee.

Coming soon

The Lettings module is Coming soon. You can still tick the box. PropLink will store your intent so you receive an in-app notification the moment the module is ready in your region.
